The Coalition for Health Research and Development (CHReaD) is a network founded in 2015. Hosted at Amref Health Africa in Kenya, it brings together civil society organizations, research institutions, academia, government departments, and the private sector to advocate for an enabling policy, regulatory, and financing environment that promotes health research, innovation, and access to high-impact products and technologies in the East African region. CHReaD has been instrumental in amalgamating efforts of local and international nongovernmental organizations and research institutions to create awareness on the importance of increased investments in health research, development, and innovation (HRD&I) and creation of worthwhile regulations that support HRD&I efforts toward achieving universal health coverage in Kenya and the other East African countries.Visit https://amref.org/kenya/chread/
